Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the Firearms & GSR Expert Working Group Steering Committee and the National Forensic Institute (NFI) of the Romanian Police, we have the pleasure to invite you to the 32nd ENFSI EWG Firearms & GSR Annual Meeting. The meeting will start on Wednesday (16th of September) early morning and will finish at lunchtime on Friday (18th of September). It will include workshops focused on Firearms and GSR.

In addition to the official program, participants will have opportunities to meet and exchange views during the social events on Tuesday (Welcome Reception) and Thursday (Gala Dinner), and to engage with scientific equipment exhibitors during the coffee and lunch breaks.

We hope that you will enjoy your stay in Bucharest as well as the meetings and sharing of information/ opinions with other participants.

Who Should Attend?

ENFSI FA/ GSR EWG Members, Associate Members and invited guests.

Non-members of FA/ GSR EWG may attend the 2026 meeting as guests with the permission of the FA / GSR chair. Those wishing to attend as guests should contact us to declare their interest.

FA/ GSR membership is open to ENFSI forensic institutes that are active in the field of firearms and GSR examination. Associate membership is available for non-ENFSI and non-European institutes that are active in these fields of forensic examination.

Call for Presentations

We strongly encourage you to take an active role in the annual meeting. Please keep in mind that the meeting's main goal is to exchange ideas, so we can learn from one another. Every single contribution between 5 and 30 minutes is more than welcome.
